The City Court meets at 6:00pm on the third Tuesday of each month at the Carterville city hall located at 1200 East 1st Street . Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm or you may contact us at (417)673-1341

VIOLATORS NOTICE
Your summons requires you to appear in person before the Municipal Court Judge at City Hall in Carterville, Mo at 6:00 P.M. on the date written at the bottom of the ticket unless you wish to plead Guilty and pay your fine before 5:00P.M. on your court date. Only those violations listed on this notice may be paid in advance at City Hall or by Mail.
If your Violation is listed below and you wish to plead guilty without appearing in court, Follow these Steps.
             1. Sign your name to the *Appearance Plea of Guilty and        Waiver* on the back of your Summons
             2.  Bring or Mail your Signed summons and a money order or Cashier’s check before 5:00P.M. on your court date to:

NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED (Will be returned and the fine will be considered unpaid)  Make Money Orders or Cashier’s Checks payable to *CARTERVILLE MUNICIPAL COURT*  Cash payments are accepted at City Hall during office hours.
WARNING
Your Drivers License may be Suspended and a warrant for your arrest may be issued if you fail to appear in court on your scheduled appearance date unless you have paid the violation in advance.
