Lieutenant John C. Redden

Lieutenant John Redden has been with the Carterville Police Department since June 2006. Lt Redden is a graduate of the MSSU Law Enforcement Academy and Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy for Firearm Instructor Training and is a member of The International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors. He serves as the department's firearms director and provides classes to the public in concealed carry certification as well as hunter's safety certification. Aside from his daily duties as peace officer for the City of Carterville, he serves as lead investigator as well and during his off hours, volunteers for Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Missouri Special Olympics.

Chad Tyler

Officer Tyler graduated from the MSSU Law Enforcement Academy in 2004 at which time he started serving with the Jasco Metro Police Department . He served as a Police Officer and School Resource Officer for the Harry S. Truman Elementary School for several years before joining Carterville.. Officer Tyler is honored to serve the city of Carterville where he grew up and to serve the citizens of our town. He joined the Carterville Police Department on September 15th 2008 and promises to be an outstanding asset to the city and the Carterville Elementary School.
